2. Scope and Purpose of Data Processing
We only collect data voluntarily provided by users:
- first name,
- uploaded photos (“diving memories”).
These data are published on the site only with the user’s consent, in order to build the community aspect of the campaign.
Additionally, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymous statistical data about website traffic (e.g., traffic sources, time spent on the site). These data do not allow direct user identification.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent of the user (when uploading a photo and first name),
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest of the controller (analysis of website traffic, service improvement).
4. Data Recipients
Data may be shared with entities providing hosting and IT services for the site, as well as with providers of analytics tools (Google Analytics). Data are not sold or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention Period
- Names and photos – until the user withdraws consent.
- Analytics data – according to Google Analytics’ retention policy (typically up to 26 months).

Under the GDPR, each person has the right to:
- access their data,
- rectify their data,
- erase their data (“right to be forgotten”),
- restrict processing,
- object to processing,
- withdraw consent at any time (for data processed on the basis of consent),
